#349 Advanced Passing & Scoring Drill | Through Balls, Movement & Finishing!

This advanced and dynamic football drill is designed to sharpen a team’s attacking coordination through quick, purposeful passing sequences and smart off-the-ball movement. It emphasizes game-realistic scenarios involving through balls, support play, and perfectly timed runs behind the defense — all while operating around static dummy defenders that simulate real match pressure. The drill develops a range of match-critical skills including one-touch passing, angled support movement, and calm, composed finishing. Ideal for midfielders and attackers looking to improve timing, awareness, and final-third execution. Setup: • 4 field players (Player 1–4), 1 goalkeeper, 4 dummy players (to simulate defenders). • Balls begin with Player 1 on the left side. • Dummy players create realistic passing lanes and decision-making pressure. 1. Player 1 begins by passing diagonally to Player 2, positioned centrally just behind the dummy players. 2. Immediately after the pass, Player 1 makes a curved run around the dummy defenders (black line). 3. Player 2 plays the ball back into Player 1’s path (yellow dotted line). 4. Player 1 then passes to Player 3, who is positioned wide on the right. 5. Player 3 lays the ball back to Player 2, now repositioned centrally to receive again. 6. Player 2 delivers a diagonal through ball to Player 4, who is making a run in behind. 7. Player 4 finishes the sequence with a first-time shot on goal (red dotted line).
